WATCHING OUT FOR ANXIETY

Anxiety disorders and sleep problems have also been found to be linked. Anxiety can aggravate and exacerbate difficulty falling asleep, particularly in teens with a delayed sleep phase. If your teen has significant, regular trouble initiating sleep, it’s important to consider the possibility of anxiety and to have her evaluated and treated, if necessary.
