Thus, the expert organizations to be encompassed by and consulted in this planning process would be diverse, including government agencies such as AHRQ; private-sector accreditation bodies such as the Commission on Cancer, NCQA, and the Joint Commission; and performance measurement bodies such as the National Quality Forum.
