DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS The first Clinical Scientist Award Program grant recipients received their awards only seven years ago, and the most recent recipients began their fourth year of the grant cycle in July 2005. The lack of sufficient elapsed time since making these grants and the relatively small number of CSDA grantees (only 71)
