BARBARA GILCEREST is professor and chairman of dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine and senior scientist at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. She is chairman of the Aging Review Committee of the National Institute on Aging, a member of the National Scientific Advisory Council of the American Federation for Aging Research, director of the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the board of directors of the Society for Investigative Dermatology.
