Finally, the authors also observe that joint weekend out- of- home episodes are more likely to include household members as companions whereas joint weekday episodes are more likely to be undertaken with nonhousehold members. MNL models were also developed to determine the impacts of demographic characteristics, episode durations, and day of the week on the choice of companion types for leisure activities.
