He has been very involved in national and regional environmental science and policy issues and has served on numerous federal advisory committees and National Research Council boards and commit tees. Biliana Cicin-Sain is presently a professor of marine studies in the Graduate College of Marine Studies at the University of Delaware, where she also holds joint appointments in the Department of Political Science and the College of Urban Affairs and Public Policy.
