... Detailed structural and areal work will be continued in the Western Kentucky fluorspa.r field and along the periphery of the Western Kentucky coal field in the Mississippian formations. A new base map of Kentucky on a scale of 1: 500,000 compiled ~1925-1928 ~ from detailed topographic quadrangles, county, and regional maps for all parts of the State was published in 1928.
