Her research work has included world climate projects for the World Meteorological Organization, energy conservation and solar energy studies for the AIA Research Corporation, and work on the total building performance concept for a consortium of American Industries and Public Works Canada. She has been a faculty member at a number of universities, including MIT, where she obtained her graduate degree in architecture, and is the author of numerous publications and a recipient of many fellowships and awards.
